How does group travel work with Sky High Society?

Have you ever planned a trip and everyone backed out at the last minute? Have you ever saw a great deal and your friends didn’t have their deposit?  If so, group travel is for you. If you’re looking to simply travel with others, network, make travel buddies or friends, Sky High Society group travel is just for you. We understand the importance of great group travel experiences. We put the “S” in experiences.  We take care of everything. From the flights, to the excursions, to the hotel accommodations, all you have to do is pack your bags. 

Can Sky High Society plan my trip? I’m not certain I’m into group travel. 

Absolutely! We provide custom packages for our clients. Sky High Society is a full-service travel agency offering a variety of getaway packages in all price ranges. Whether you are interested in a girls getaway, a guys trip, a bachelorette party, a honeymoon, a solo trip, a vacation, cruise, a trip around the world, or a destination wedding, (you get the picture, we can do it ALL) we will work with you personally to customize your travel plans. We are dedicated to helping you find your dream vacation!

When will I get a copy of the itinerary?

Itineraries are provided 60-90 days prior to departure. However, Sky High Society reserves the right to amend your itinerary prior to departure or while on tour. Some circumstances may require us to make adjustments, such as changing the order of city tours due to national holidays, unexpected weather conditions, flight schedules, or any other issues that may affect your travel experience.


Are the prices listed per person?

Yes- pricing is per person for double occupancy. If you would like single occupancy, please contact us for the rate as the price will vary per destination.

I’m interested in booking. How do I get started?

If you’re interested in a group trip, simply check the website under deposits and make your deposit. After your deposit is received, you’ll need to complete the travel disclosure form within 48 hours. There are no exceptions.

Do you offer room matching?

Room matching is available, but not guaranteed. Anyone without a roommate will be paired with another member if you wish. If you have a roommate, you will be asked for your roommates’ information at the time the contract is signed.

Where can I find the travel disclosure form?

It can be found on the bottom of our website.

Are there any other forms required?

Yes- you will need to submit the travel contract specific to your destination within 48 hours.

I paid my deposit and submitted all forms. What’s next?

You will be invited to a private Facebook group where we discuss all information pertaining to the trip.

Do I need a credit card?

Certain hotels will require to hold a certain amount on your credit card for incidentals. Travelers will be asked to put down a card credit for room incidentals. This hold will be removed upon check out if not room incidentals were changed.

What happens if the trip is sold out?

If the trip is sold out, you can be put on the waiting list. To be placed on the waiting list, please email [email protected] and put waiting list in the subject line. If a spot becomes available, you will be notified and will have 72 hours to make your deposit. If we do not receive your deposit, you will lose your spot. There are no exceptions.

Can I book more than one trip?

Yes- we offer a flexible payment program for those attending 2 or more trips.

Can I book excursions through you?

Absolutely! We are a full-service travel agency.

What payment methods are accepted?

All credit and debit cards are accepted. Payments are only accepted through our website.  If you would like to pay in full, you will have the option to do so and save 10% off the trip. This must be done within 30 days of your deposit. 

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes- of course! We offer flexible payment plans on all  of our trips (group or personal).

Are deposits refundable?

Deposits are non-refundable and cannot be credited to another trip if you decide not to proceed.

Where do the flights depart from?

While most of our group trips depart from JFK, flying from your home airport may be an option. This information can be found on each destination page if it is available. Increase in fare may apply.

Can I upgrade my seat?

Upgrading your seat may be possible, but not guaranteed. Please notify us if you’re interested. The upgrade amount will be due at that time.

What happens if I miss my group flight?

If you miss your group flight, you will be responsible for any fees incurred. Additionally, you may miss the first day of group activities.

Does Sky High Society offer travel insurance?

Sky High Society offers the Sky High Society Way travel insurance. This plan is for the budget-conscious clients. Perfect for those travelers who know they will travel but need some flexibility. Credit will be minus the cost of deposit and travel protection. The credit will be valid for 2 years from the date of the deposit and can be used to go anywhere. The cost is $199.99 per person. 

I don’t have my passport yet. Can I still book?

Yes- we will confirm your passport information 60 -90 days prior to departure. 

Are passports required to travel?

Passports are required for international travel. 

Do you apply for visas for us?

Beginning in 2022, visas will no longer be included in pricing. Members will be responsible for obtaining their visas on their own. Depending on your departure country, some destinations will require travel visas. It is up to the member to make sure all passports and visas are up to date. Sky High Society LLC will not be held liable for any penalty, loss, or invalid passport and visa materials. If a visa is required for entry for a Sky High Society trip, travelers will be notified.

What happens if Sky High Society cancels the trip?

If a trip gets cancelled due to COVID-19, you will receive a full refund. Refunds may take up to 90 days to process.
